I remember this day as the first time I was going to meet your friends. I was so nervous! I wanted them to like me. We had only been together for a little over a month, but I knew that you were an important part of my future. And now, you're not only part of my future, you are my forever.

This photo is only 4 years old, but somehow it feels like a lifetime ago. You were so sweet to me even back then, but somehow I just saw you as a friend. And now, I am pregnant with your child, and we are married and so in love and have a house to call our own. It’s funny how things work out sometimes. Back then, I was definitely not ready for a serious relationship. Today, I can’t imagine my life without you. Back then, I was looking for some one special, and I did not see what was right before my eyes. Today, I laugh at myself for being so blind back then, and I love you with every bit of my being. This photo was a lifetime ago, and I look forward to starting a family with you and a happy lifetime ahead of us.

What could be more romantic than our first married Valentine’s Day, complete with a bouquet of roses, a fancy dinner at Langham Hotel, and a totally unexpected gift of gorgeous earrings!

I can’t believe it has already been a year since we first moved into our home together. I remember how fast everything just happened. We closed escrow on Thursday, got our keys on Friday and started packing, cleaned the house on Saturday and officially moved in on Sunday, July 1st. By the time we went back to work on Monday, we were exhausted! It was well worth it though, and every day I am so happy we have made our home at 1962 Annandale Way.

Babe, I know that even though we have our share of stormy weather, the sun will always come out in the end, and there will even be a beautiful rainbow to celebrate. We just went through a particularly stormy night, but it looks like we’'ve weathered it through, and we will be just fine.
I want you to know that I feel blessed and lucky to have you in my life. I love you and cherish you with every bit of my being, and I am so sorry when my actions hurt you. I am far from perfect, and I thank you for your eternal patience with me.

I wonder what this New Year of 2008 will bring us. 2007 was a milestone year. We bought a house, got married, and started our own company. No wonder that year was hectic! I don't foresee any huge milestones this year, but I'm excited and looking forward to us building our lives together.

Every day, I am grateful that you are in my life. It was a stroke of luck that brought us back to each other, and for that, I thank my lucky stars!
