We had a fun-filled day at the aquarium. There were a lot of interesting and exotic sea creatures. I could've spent days just trying to photograph everything. Eli had a blast and was super well-behaved the whole time!

thisisina > Journaling reads:
My mother is one of the most beautiful people I know. Not just on the outside, although good looks do tend to run in the family! ;) More importantly though, my mom is even more beautiful from the inside. She is the oldest of 7 siblings, and took on a lot of responsibility for them while growing up. She became a teacher, and later in life, started her own family and had two beautiful daughters. (Ahem!) We went through a lot together when my dad passed away, and my mom remains as strong and inspiring as ever. My mom is a very positive person with a great outlook in life. She has always been dedicated to helping others -- through her teaching, her volunteer work with less fortunate children, and even playing the role of peacemaker in our sometimes hot-tempered extended family. She remains one of my greatest inspirations in remaining true to myself and my values in life. I love you, Mom!

thisisina > Journaling reads: This is what happens when you get lost in Napa Valley -- an impromptu wine tasting! Instead of asking for directions, we stopped at a winery along the way, and of course we had to pose for some fun photos. The wine was pretty good, too!

This is a Christmas photo of the four of us cousins. I remember that this year, we took Christmas caroling to a whole new level. Instead of going around the neighborhood knocking on random doors, our parents called up family and friends and scheduled *appointments* for our performances at their homes! My favorite carols (that I still remember to this day) were Jingle Bell Rock (loved the choreography!) and Donde Esta Santa Claus (complete with "Mamacita, weh weh weh!") At one home, we had some friendly competition and our family friend's son also did a song number! We still liked ours better though. :)

thisisina > Intro: Once upon a time... Eli went on a mission in his trusty spaceship in an attempt to capture the evil Mr. Zorg.
Panel 1: Prepare to engage in warp speed! We must not let evil Mr. Zorg escape!
Panel 2: Activate speed blasters! Evil Mr. Zorg, here I come! Full speed ahea-- Whoops!!
Panel 3: Splat!
Panel 4: Kids, do not try this at home. Even super crimefighters like myself should wear their seatbelt when driving a spaceship at warp speed. Or else the bad guy will get away!
The End. Stay tuned for the next adventures of Elijah. Will he capture the evil Mr. Zorg? Will he even stay on his spaceship without falling off? Find out!
