Journaling reads: When I see this photo, I think back to the time when I was young and innocent. Not that this photo was taken that long ago, it was likely taken on my birthday in 2001. Only 5 years, but it seems like a lifetime ago. Since then I've undergone much change and endured much. I've emerged stronger, and more sure of myself. I feel like I can face any challenge that life throws in my path. But I remember and long for the simpler and innocent days of the past.
