thisisina > Journaling: Sooner than we wanted, it was time to pack up our stuff and get ready to leave. We took a few more photos before we went to the pier to head back home. thisisina > Journaling: Time flies by so fast, and already it was the last day of our stay at Catalina. We went full circle and had brunch where we had our first meal this trip - Mr. Ning’s Chinese restaurant. We walked back to the Casino and discovered the small museum there, built to preserve Catalina’s history. thisisina > Journaling: The magic continued as we strolled down the pathway from the Casino hand-in-hand, enjoying the cool breeze and the smell of the sea. We had dinner in a romantic little spot called The Landing, where the seafood was fresh and the candles flickered as we reveled in each other’s company. And that evening after we went to bead, we dreamt. I don’t remember much of mine, just that I woke up in tears and with a strong certainty that Dennis and I were meant to be together. Dennis dreamt that he was meeting my dad, who interviewed him and asked him questions to get to know him. Then he told Dennis to take care of me and my family. thisisina > Journaling: I am so glad we decided to hightail it to the movie. Prince Caspian was a magical experience, especially since the theater itself looked like we were in another world. As I held Dennis’s hand and watched the movie, I truly felt that we were transported to Narnia itself that evening. thisisina > Journaling: It was back to more photos after the tour. We also stopped for some fish n’ chips, even though we weren’t particularly hungry. We just wanted to snack! Then I remembered that we had wanted to see Narnia at the theater in the Casino. We were almost too late so we quickly took a cab there and barely made it! thisisina > Journaling: Then it was time for the tour. We quickly got settled and started watching the viewing window in the bottom of the boat as we went sailing off. We saw mostly seaweed initially, but soon they threw fish food overboard and we saw schools of fish swarm by to get some! The captain was nice enough to offer to take photos of people afterward, so we got a rare shot of the two of us! thisisina > Journaling: The next day, the sun came out to play and so did we. We had brunch at The Cottage, and had matching meals -- eggs benedict for Dennis and eggs florentine for Ina.The rest of the time was spent wandering around taking photos, buying gifts and snacks, basically just passing time until the glass bottom boat tour.
